Hello there! <3
Starting off, I wore my Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles Sakura costume to Megacon 2012. It came down to sweat, tears and massive cramming to finish it before leaving that Friday. I cannot stress the amount of stress induced by this costume. It was insanely hard to find time away from my course load and just work on the dress for 30 minutes. I put together my veil in the car ride to Orlando. It shows how little time I actually had to finish. This project estimated around $2,500 spent. Overall, I am super pleased with the outcomes. My boyfriend, Kiarou, was Syaoran Lee and we won the Best Prop award. I didn't expect to win anything. Eeee! ^___^
It is approaching the end of February, and it is time to start my next costume. I don't think I am going to Momocon, but I have my mind set on Dragon Con this year. As you may not know, I am on a United States Navy scholarship for college, so it means that after I graduate, I will be commissioned as an officer in the Navy. I will be a senior after this semester and I want to spend as much time as I can, aside from school to go to more cons or make more costumes. So Dragon Con it is!

Kiarou and I will be working on Red Robin and Black Bat. We will be doing Kenneth Rocaforts version of the two. We've been thinking about doing these two for a looong time, but I didn't like the simply spandex/wet look suit version of Cassandra Cain. I also didn't like the domino mask that she has. I want an actual cowl or head piece.
I was a little iffy about doing Black Bat, but the show Face Off has really motivated me so much. They actually use the techniques that we use, and I will definitely watch them as I sculpt and cast.
